The first time I heard about blockchain was when I just started working in 2019. I saw someone on the v2ex forum asking about buying cryptocurrencies. I had heard about Bitcoin before, but it always felt distant and I never paid much attention to it.
I remember back then terms like decentralization, blockchain, cryptocurrency issuance, and mining seemed like abstract concepts. It wasn't until recently that I realized it might be the next trend in the virtual world.
Now we already have decentralized blogging systems, so decentralized gaming systems shouldn't be too far away. If decentralized games were to appear, it would undoubtedly ignite the trend of the next gaming era. By then, VR, AR, and other related content would develop into a metaverse gaming experience, just like in movies.
